1. Record
First, set up the Handheld Pulse Oximeter Unit to record the user/patient information (please refer to the Octivetech 300BH and 300IH owner’s manual for data logging setup). Then, record the user data for a period of time.
The first step to oximetry screening is to set-up your pulse oximetry (Octive Tech 300BH and 300IH Handheld Oximeter) recording device and the patient/user. Upon completion of the recording, you are now ready to transfer the data to your computer.
2. Transfer
With the data recorded, connect the data transfer cable to the serial port on your computer. Be sure that the USB software dongle (or Serial Number) for the MedView program is also in place. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to navigate through the transfer process. Select the records to be analyzed and start the transfer process. The data is then transferred to the computer for evaluation. Disconnect the device when the process is finished.
Software allows a seamless transfer of data from the pulse oximeter to your computer using USB data transfer cable. When you are ready to transfer, simply connect the transfer cable to the serial port. The easy-to-follow Windows screens walk you through the transfer process.
Select the recordings you want to analyze and start the data capture. The files will be transferred for review and analysis. Disconnect the device and you are ready to proceed.
3. Analysis
With a wide variety of toolbar options and features, the MedView software gives the user the greatest flexibility and versatility in data analysis. With time-stamped oxygen saturation and historical pulse rate comparison, a thorough picture of the patient/user’s health can be obtained. Through the use of a continuous monitoring capabilities of the Octivetech 300BH and 300IH Handheld Oximeter, long-term regressive data analysis is as easy as point-and-click.
Analyzing patient/user information has never been this easy. This oxymetry data management allows you to take oximetry analysis as far as you need to go. The intuitive toolbar and icons are user-friendly and provide maximum efficiency for the clinician.

4. Reporting
All printouts come with guidelines for easier understanding, with a distinct pattern for denoting the desaturation tolerance. With optional reporting modes, all print-outs will look stunning, whether concise or comprehensive.
Graphs are printed with guide lines for visual clarity and easy interpretation. Whichever report you select, you will appreciate the concise appearance of the reports – in black-and-white or color.

The Standard report provides a brief one-page analysis for quick diagnosis of disparate data. The report includes a scaled-down version of the full study with exception events and oxygen saturation histogram.
Oximetry Report: Provides a concise one-page summary for fast interpretation of numeric data. The report also includes a graphical representation of the full study with clearly visible event detection and an SpO2 histogram.
The Comprehensive Report presents a complete graphical layout of the entire recording session. This allows a complete and detailed record to be kept for further analysis.

5. Patient Data Management
After the data is analyzed, printed out, or manipulated, the user can then archive the data onto a USB drive, a specific folder, or any other storage device for future reference, or comparative analysis.
Upon completion of printing the reports, you can conveniently store all the data in the patient data folder for further analysis, allowing quick retrieval of any archived patient record.

A. Thank you for your inquiry. We certainly appreciate your interest in our products. I have followed up on the compatibility of the MedView Data management software to find that it is not compatible with Mac. It is designed specifically designed for PC's that are running Windows Operating Systems.
