Our FDA approved multi-drug test cup is a convienent way to identify a variety of possible drug abuse: AMP/COC/THC/BAR/OPI/BZO/mAMP/MTD/PCP/MDMA. This test is designed to screen for the presence of the listed substances in a single collection of specimen by capillary action in minutes.

Specimen Collection Procedures: 

1. Wash hands with warm water before opening sealed pouch.
2. Open the cap and provide specimen directly into the test cup. The minimum sample volume is 25mL. Replace the test cup cap and check for a tight seal.  

Test Procedure:

Allow the test card, urine specimen to room temperature (15°C - 30°C or 50°F - 86°F) prior to testing.  

1. Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove the cup from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.
2. Donor provides specimen and secures the cap.
3. Technician secures cap for tight seal, dates and initials the security seal and attaches the security seal over the cup cap.
4. On a flat surface, technician inserts screw key and twist screw key from left to right to a fully closed position.
5. Peel off the label to view results. The test is read in the reaction well.
6. Start the timer and wait for the red lines to appear. The results should be read at 5 minutes. Do not interpret results after 10 minutes.  

 

Interpretation of Results: Negative (-): Two lines appear. One red line should be in the control region (C), and another apparent red or pink line adjacent should be in the test region (Drug/T). This negative result indicates that the drug concentration is below the detectable level. Note: The shade of red in the test line region (Drug/T) will vary, but it should be considered negative whenever there is even a faint pink line. Positive (+): One red line appears in the control region (C). No line appears in the test region (Drug/T). This positive result indicates that the drug concentration is above the detectable level. Invalid: Control line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for control line failure. Review the procedure and repeat the test using a new test panel. If the problem persists, discontinue using the lot immediately and contact your local distributor.
